Ground Breaking at Flagler Garden

A couple of Sundays ago Kelly dragged me to the ground breaking ceremony for Flagler Village Community Garden in Ft. Lauderdale.  Flagler Garden (for short) is the first of it's kind community garden located near downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Check out the garden's full story here.

The ground breaking ceremony included a butterfly release and a "plant your own container garden" station (my garden didn't make it. . . but Kelly has managed not to kill hers yet).

There were also lots of local venders selling their goods, hot dogs from Frankie Dogs, drinks from Whole Foods and a raffle to win a garden plot. . .

Guess who will be sharing a plot with her best when the garden officially opens? Yep, that would be me.  Speaking of me (vain much), I'm in three of the photos above, bonus points if you can figure out which ones.
