At Long Last, A Coffee Table

I love, love, love my new my new coffee table!

Isn’t it pretty? It’s a vintage slat bench I picked up for $50 in Micanopy. I can’t find any markings on it, and some quirks on the ends lead me to belive that it was either homemade or at least “home-hacked”, yeah, I totally just made up a word.

See, the ends aren’t even. Weird, I know, but you don’t really notice it in person.

 

I actually spotted this coffee table back in October, they were asking $125 at the time. I considered it then, but with my inability to make decisions, I let it go. . .so you can imagine how excited I was when I came back 3 months later to find it for $50 - I couldn’t pass it up a second time, so into my mom’s car it went.
