Whenever I share a photo of my bathroom I only show one side, and there is a reason for that -
I hate hate hate this light fixture, it's dirty, and rusty, and well, just plain old gross. The fact that I never replaced the mixed and matched half blown out light bulbs it came with didn't help matters. Well a year and half later I finally got around to buying the right bulbs for the job -
What a difference a few globes make. While I still don't love this light fixture, I no longer hate it!

Or at least hate it a little less. I concur, in any event. But finding many options besides that or the 3 sconces look or a fluorescent bar is tough. Around here the primary light in the bathroom has to be fluorescent, though one inspector told me as much that some people install a fluorescent for the inspection, then install something else afterward. We've still got a fluorescent because of the energy efficiency, and we haven't found anything better in any event.
