Yard Sale

I have been distracted the past few days, and there has been good reason - my mother and I have been getting ready for our annual yard sale.

We had a yard sale on a Saturday in November since I moved home from college. See, I get my compulsive shopping gene from my mom (actually, I get it from both sides, my bio-father hasn't met an infomercial he didn't like), so once a year we try to clear out space so that we can continue on with our shopping addiction without officially becoming hoarders (though, I'm not as good at it as my mom is).
