Closet Doors

Have I ever told you all that my house lacks closet doors? I'm pretty sure I did, but I'm not 100% sure. . . Anywho, it's sad but true, not a single closet in my house has a door. Not only do they not have doors, but they don't even have the framework to which a door can be attached.

Now, not having closet doors in the bedrooms doesn't bother me so much - heck I have so many pieces of clothing shoved in my closet that if there was a door there you wouldn't be able shut it. But, the lack of closet doors in the hallway is really starting to get on my nerves.

So why haven't I bitten the bullet and shoved some doors in there? Well, simply, I hate bi fold doors, and I really really hate slated bi fold doors - See, there is nothing pretty about them, but, because the location of the closet, the size of the door way, and the fact that the air handler takes up on side of it, ugly slated bi fold doors are my only real option. . . so I continue to put it off in hopes that I will find something better.

How about just hanging fabric? I hate bi fold doors too.

I thought about that, but fabric could get sucked into the a/c return and cause so serious trouble :(

Pocket doors?

How about putting fabric on the louvered doors (stapled or glued somehow)? That way they're covered but still allow air circulation.
