Getting My Craft On

I've gone craft crazy lately, my poor "great room" is in a state of chaos, but I am having a great time. My new favorite gadget is my woodburning tool - I think it has to do with the instant gratification and the smell of burning wood.

One of my first projects was this little plague I made for my soon-to-be niece. Before we knew she was going to be a she we referred to her as Pigeon - my mom made it up, I'm not sure why.

After burning in the name Pigeon I finished the edges up with a mix of ebony stain and copper paint.

I am considering starting a side blog for my all my crafting attempts. . . what do ya'll think?
