Winter House Plans

I have made mention before that my laundry room is in need of repair and at this point it is pretty much unusable. I cringe every time I have to go in there to turn on my sprinklers, heck I hate it so much that I won't even share a photo of it - it's just that bad. . .

Come this winter when its cool enough to tackle a large scale project I had planned to use my first time home owner tax credit money to fix it up. While discussing plans with my dad (also known as the guy who would be doing the bulk of the work) he suggested I think bigger and close in my entire carport. . .

I have very big plans for a pretty large addition someday that include a living room, garage, and master suite, but I had never really thought about closing in the carport in the mean time. . .

I could really use the extra room - my crafts have currently taken over the "great room". . . and seeing that the laundry room basically had to be rebuilt from the ground up the cost would but all that much more. . .

I have lots to think about now - do I want to tackle a project this big? and if I do what kind of room would it be? A craft studio? A Den? An extra bedroom?

My head is officially spinning. . .

That looks like a great idea! The more rooms the better :-) Right now with all this economy crisis, a lot of companies have great deals on the supplies for remodeling. Good luck on your project!

I think a den/guest room(if you need one)/plus storage for all your crafting supplies!! I say go for it!
