Eddie Ross Approved Candlestick

I, like almost everyone else I know, am a fan of Eddie Ross of Top Design/Martha Stewart/blog-o-sphere fame. I mean come on, who doesn't like Eddie?

So like everyone else I was super excited to see that he had opened his very own Etsy store. I was even more excited when I saw this pair of candlesticks available in his shop:

I did my own little double take and then looked over at my china cabinet:

Yep, I own something Eddie Ross approved. I didn't take the best picture, but it has the same etching on the bottom. My mother gave me that candlestick when I moved into my house, it had belong to my paternal grandmother, who passed away when I was a baby. So now I can claim that Eddie Ross thought my grandma Mary had good taste (okay, that may be a reach, but it's my fantasy so I'll go with it).

They are lovely!

If I weren't so zonked out on cold medicine I could name that depression glass pattern for you. It's so familiar... If you don't already know the manufacturer and pattern I'd be glad to look it up and let you know. Just say the word and I'll have an excuse to drag out some reference books.

Okay, so it was bugging me and I didn't even want to wait to find out if you already knew or even wanted to know.

Your grandmother's candlesticks are Meadow Wreath by New Martinsville Glass Co. Here's a link to one being sold online. http://www.trocadero.com/showperson/items/750760/item750760.html

There are lots of pretty pieces to be had in this pattern.
