Christmas Television - Personal Favorites

When it comes to my personal favorite Christmas Specials, tradition is the key. Give me a good old fashion claymation any day:

  • "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town" - Wednesday, 12/10 at 8pm
  • "Rudolph's Shiny New Year" - Wednesday, 12/10 at 9pm and Thursday, 12/11 at 7pm
  • "The Year Without a Santa Claus" - Thursday, 12/11 at 8pm
  • "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of the Misfit Toys" - Thursday, 12/11 at 9pm and Monday, 12/15 at 7pm
All on ABC Family

Throw in some classic animations:
  • "Frosty the Snowman" - Friday, 12/12 at 8pm ET on CBS.
  • "A Charlie Brown Christmas" - Monday, 12/8 at 8pm and Tuesday, 12/16 at 8pm on ABC.
And to top it all off "A Christmas Story" (24-hour marathon begins Wednesday, 12/24 at 8pm on TBS) which I leave on all day. My love for this movie goes so deep that I even asked for and received a Red Rider b.b.gun for Christmas last year - and then promptly jammed it so badly that it is now solely a decorative item.
