This is the lovely tiled carport that came as an added bonus when I bought my house, notice the tile was the same tile that is in the "great" room and kitchen. . .
Well after a sudden burst of insanity my dad decided that we would pry up all the tile in the carport - at 8 o'clock at night!!
We were left with a pile of broken tile, and a RED carport. . .

Is that terra cotta? I love terra cotta!!!
Sadly it is not terra cotta - before the cheap beige ceramic tile went down the carport had been painted many colors.
In one section where the paint has peeled we can see that it has been white, hunter green, primary blue, gray, and lastly red. . .
The red paint must have been really cheap because it's gone all chalky (giving it the terra cotta look) and now when you walk through the carport into the house you leave red foot prints. . .
