Vintage Fail

 

So I found this awesome mid-century desk at an estate sale a while back.  I was super excited, it's a solid piece of furniture (it weighs a ton), lots of storage, and besides for a little discoloration on the top, it is in excellent condition.  Oh, and I totally got it for a song. 

 

So I lugged this thing into the house, where it spent a few months just chilling in the dining room before I finally drug it into the craft room.  I got it all set up with my laptop and then I sat down at it for the first time. . . FAIL!

 

Turns out the desk is about one size too small. . . my knees hit the drawer and there is no room to move my legs around.  It would be great for a kid or someone who wouldn't be using it from their every day work space. . .

 

So if you know anyone in south Florida that want a mid-century desk (cheap), let me know. . .
